"Person to Person - Satisfaction and Service are Our Business"
I Hate Reading!
I know I know I am supposed love sitting down with a good book,
relaxing and educating myself but I don.t. Between having a B.A. in
Literature where reading as many as 10,000 pages for one 3 hour
class was common and being extremely A.D.D. I am burnt out on
reading. What is a person to do?
One of my favorite ways to educate myself is to listen to books
while driving or doing mundane tasks like mowing the yard. I have
two favorite sites for downloading audio books.
http://audible.com Is a pay
site where many of the current books on the best seller lists may be down loaded. I am a platinum
member which allows me 24 books a year.
Due to my oldest son, Tim Jr., running a podcast about Christian
Fellowship I found a site where many of the great works of Christian
and secular authors in the public domain may be down loaded
http://librivox.org. Of course
many of the books that are on this site are read by amateur volunteers but they are still very useful.
Let's stay well read (listened) out there!

Wondering whether a resort is worth the cash? TripAdvisor at
http://www.tripadvisor.com delivers detailed,
opinionated reviews and recommendations from travelers who've been there. If you're going to take a couple

other accommodations around the world.
TripAdvisor doesn't just hook you up with plane tickets and hotel reservations;
rather, the site is like a knowledgeable friend - like many knowledgeable friends,
really, all in one room - looking out for you when you're booking your trip. Hotels
and restaurants are listed in order of their ranking on TripAdvisor's Popularity
Index, and flights are listed in order of their price. Detailed user reviews tell it
like it is, letting you know exactly what to expect, from the cleanliness of the
rooms to the manners (or lack thereof) of the restaurant's wait staff. You can even
tap into the site's user-uploaded photos to get an unvarnished look at your would-be
accommodations. ("They bill it as a resort," wrote one reviewer. "It's actually a
glorified dormitory. The TV was circa the '70's. It only displayed 2 colors: orange
When you're ready to book your vacation, TripAdvisor does all the hard work for
you: It compares prices from around the Web and then connects you to your choice.

Well, you're not alone! Most of us want to speak to a live human being and not go
through the frustration of being on hold, going through 101 different keypad options
and then being placed back on hold just to discover the wrong option was chosen 15
Aside from listing some hard to find toll free numbers for companies that seem to
hide them from us ... Get Human gives you some insider tricks to bypass the automated
system, statistics on average wait times and ratings on user ratings. Just go to
http://gethuman.com/ and have a field day. They allow
you to search for companies or browse the list they provide as a link at the end of the short list displayed.
This has become a passion for many - exposing weak links in the auto attendant
armor of big companies. Another excellent site is http://www.dialahuman.com where
they list companies I never even knew had a number, their "real number" and tips on
how to bypass the system.
Ever try to call someone from companies with web pages but no phone numbers? Well
now you can ... and speak to a confused live person who will be wondering how you got
