Where does it end?
On June 1, 2010, the federal deficit was a monstrous $13 trillion dollars. On December 31, 2010, the federal debt had grown to a staggering $14 trillion dollars. That's the first time the federal deficit had grown to over $14 trillion, and it goes without saying that it's the largest federal deficit ever. It took just seven months for the national debt to climb $1 trillion to $14 trillion dollars, and if Congress continues to delay on raising the Debt Ceiling, results could be a disaster for the United States. The current debt limit of the United States is $14.294 trillion bucks as signed into law by President Obama in February. According to the US Treasury
"I sincerely believe... that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity under the name of funding is but swindling futurity on a large scale." --Thomas Jefferson to John Taylor, 1816. ME 15:23

Remember when video tapes were all the rage? There were Sony's Betamax tapes and JVC's VHS ... and VHS came out the winner leaving many of us with a collection of Betamax tapes we couldn't watch.
Of course, both Betamax and VHS were eventually made obsolete by digital technology. This time around converting VHS tapes to DVDs could be accomplished, but only if you had the software or one of those pricey DVD/VCR combos with recording functions. Either way you were going to spend some money and a lot of time... and no one wanted your old tapes.
Now, we are caught again as the world is going from DVD to Blu-ray. But this time there is a simple solution! You can swap virtually any DVD for a new Blu-ray disc of your choice for as little as $4.95 by going to http://www.dvd2blu.com to trade your old DVD to a new Blu-ray disc.
Warner Bros. in association with WBshop.com Presents DVD2Blu. Warner Bros. is allowing you to go on line, select from their Warner Bros. Blu-ray movie discs (or TV series) and send in an old DVD in exchange for a new movie! By the way, if you want and entire season of a TV series ... you still send just one DVD to get it!
Qualifying DVDs include any pre-recorded discs that contain professionally produced content purchased at a regular retail or e-commerce store (excluding adult content). The DVDs can contain film, TV, sports, animation or documentary content and can be from Warner Bros. or non-Warner Bros. blank or copied DVDs do not qualify.
So - dust off those DVDs you're not watching anyway and trade them in for brand new Blu-ray discs. Don't get left behind - go ahead and turn blue now.
