High Tech Spying not just on CSI or 24!
New software that hides on cell phones and captures call logs and text messages is being sold as a way to monitor kids and spouses. Are you being watched or monitored by your spouse, employer or parent?
The following companies promote this kind of software.
There are hardware products that can download the data off your cell phone and allow someone you don't know to look at your personal data and messages.
The simple way to keep this from happening to you is keep your cell phone with you at all times. Most of the spyware programs require a few minutes with your cell phone before they can be implemented.
Merry Christmas and let's keep things private out there.

Stop the Clutter & Save Some Trees!
Tired of your mailbox being stuffed with tons of annoying catalogs that you end up throwing away? Catalog Choice is a free service that lets you refuse catalogs you wish to no longer receive. The service cleans out your mailbox and saves a few trees at the same time.
Catalog Choice is a sponsored project of the Ecology Center. It is endorsed by the National Wildlife Federation and the Natural Resources Defense Council, and funded by the Overbrook Foundation, the Merck Family Fund, the Kendeda Fund, the Weeden Foundation and the Mead Foundation.
Their mission is to reduce the number of repeat and unwanted catalog mailings, and to promote the adoption of sustainable industry best practices. Here is what US Postal Regulatory Vice Chairman Nancy Langley recently said about them: "Catalog Choice is a service that helps recipients reduce the frequency of catalog mailings, or eliminate unsolicited ones. It lets direct mailers show their customers they're acting responsibly by eliminating duplications, and that they're also environmentally friendly with recycled paper."
